Chapter 6

• Small twinges in her chest accompanied by a cold sweat made her legs falter for a moment, Vladimir was quick as he held her up before Karen fainted, she recovers in fright and pushes him away, she realizes that her behavior was not appropriate as her husband was watching her worried that she did something wrong.
• —I... I'm sorry, sir... Vermilion.
• —Why are you apologizing? Wouldn't it be better if you thanked me for holding her down before she hurt herself
• "I can't believe how arrogant you are."
• Karen winces in disgust, but quickly hides it.
• — "You're right, thank you very much. —said Karen sarcastically.
• Feeling in trouble, Karen tries to escape from that meeting, but her husband stops her and whispers in her ear to be nice to him for tonight something that disgusted her because she couldn't do it, no, knowing that she already slept with him and that without her admitting it out loud it was one of the most exciting nights she can remember, for the most part
• She realizes he watches her too long, the lewdness in his gaze making her gulp dryly, she couldn't even look him in the eye. Joseph was whispering for her to come closer to him but she didn't want to, instead, she wanted to run as far away from the club as possible.

• Joseph and Karen look at each other and Joseph clarifies that they dated for a while and that's why they decided to get married and that they were enjoying their honeymoon.

• After dinner her husband tries to convince Vladimir to sell the 80% of the shares he owns of the company he has worked for years, he gives a cutting smile, Vladimir looks at him and tells him he is not selling his shares and that displeased Joseph

• Getting ready to take the elevator, Karen realized that her relationship with her secret was secret, so she told her husband that she would take the stairs because the elevator made her dizzy.
