Chapter 44 To Vanish Her Before The Full Moon Comes

• “It is time to do the plan,” Gerthel whispered as she rose from her bed, got her sling bag inside her dressing cabinet, and slowly opened the door of her room. She looked around and her face glowed with delight when she noticed that the guard nearby has been nowhere to be seen. “Good job, Melda,” she thought as she quickly made her strides going to the end part of the floor where the fire escape was located. She climbed down from the fire escape and jumped onto the ground as she reached the last stair on the fire escape. Sneaking through the dark, she walked lightly going to the back part of the castle that will lead her to the tunnel.
• Wearing an all black fitted overall clothes given by Melda again and a black bonnet, none of the guards ever noticed her while walking in the dark sneakily until she reached the tunnel part. She removed the cover of the tunnel on the land surface and jumped inside. And like she was having fun, her body slides on the tunnel until she reached that flattened part of it. She tried to stand up but her head hit the upper wall of the tunnel to her disgust because of the pain she felt when her head hit the upper wall. So, she walked carefully with her body a little bit bent down, until she got out of the tunnel.
