• Princess Luddie smiled at him and kissed him on the lips, leaving Oryun with an expression of utter astonishment, unable to utter a single word, merely nodding and gawking at her in disbelief. Erick, too, was at a loss for a logical explanation for the unfolding events.
• His attention was diverted when he heard Princess Ranys exclaim, "Ah, look! Here comes Miss Esthela at last, it seems she couldn't give her security guards the slip."
• "Erick?" Oryun called out telepathically, his voice tinged with alarm. "What's happening? Is this real, or have we stumbled into a parallel world where our fantasies materialise?"
