Chapter 5 I Don't Want To Meet His Eyes
- "Rod!" The attorney shouted as I entered the house. I came home from school and it was late already.
- "What the hell? I said no. I will not marry her!"
- Getting married? Rod is getting married?
- "This is what your father wants son. Just follow him."
- "I do not want to!"
- He looked at me and his eyes immediately widened.
- I averted looking at him and approached attorney to kiss on her cheek.
- "I'm just in the room," I said and didn't wait for any of them to speak. After that bar accident, Rod and I didn't see each other much anymore.
- Simply because he stayed in Opol where his father was.
- We just met again after a week. Then now, I saw him arguing his mom.
- I lay on the bed and thought about what I heard earlier. Rod is getting married?
- What a big news. I just got up to take a shower.
- Because it's not my habit to prepare my clothes before taking a shower, I left the bathroom with just a towel on when the door suddenly opened. I saw Rod looking at me with wide eyes.
- I bit my lip hard to not to overreact.
- "You didn't lock the door," his face darkened while staring at me.
- "You should knock then.."
- I saw him walking closer to me while I was just standing in front of him, tightly holding the towel that was wrapped around me.
- He pulled my waist closer to him. He didn't take his eyes off me.
- I just look calm but my heart can't stop pounding.
- "Were you waiting for me?" his deep husky voice soaked onto me. I cling to his arm while the other hand is holding the towel so it'll not fall.
- I can't stop my heart. It's pounding real hard. Damn it!
- I shook my head. "I'm busy," I said.
- I don't want us to talk about the kiss. I'm ashamed because I was the one who initiated it.
- I admit that I had a crush on him but I was very passionate during those times.
- "Where?" he asked.
- He's staring at my lips. What is he thinking?
- I backed away from him and sat on the bed. I don't care if I wet the bed sheet. It will dry out later.
- "I'm busy at school R-Rod,"
- I saw a strange sparkle in his eyes after I uttered his name.
- What's wrong?
- "Hmm..."
- "You are getting married?" I asked biting my lower lip. I saw him stare at me for a moment.
- "No. Why would I?"
- I bit my lip and nodded.
- "Need to dress up," I said.. I'm really impressed with myself. I didn't even stutter in front of him even though I was feeling very nervous.
- "Okay," he said.
- "Are you going to do something later?" he asked again. I nodded.
- "School works,"
- He nodded and left the room. When he disappeared from my sight, only then did I breathe a sigh of relief.
- What happened? Why is Rod acting like that?
- I got dressed right away and dried my hair. I have no plans to go out. I even lock the door. I don't want to see Rod.
- He's not good in my system. He always makes me nervous.
- When I finished my assignment, I immediately fell asleep. I just woke up around midnight just to drink water.
- I don't know if Rod waited for me to go out earlier but why would he wait for me? There's no reason to wait for me.
- It's not really a good idea to have him by my side. I didn't recognize myself anymore whenever he's near.
- When I went down to the living room, I was surprised to see Rod drinking alone. I immediately turned around to go back to my room when he spoke.
- "Why did you lock your room?"
- I knew he was talking to me. So, he went to see me earlier?
- "It's normal to lock the room," I answered.
- "Why didn't you go out earlier?"
- I bit my bottom lip. I don't want to answer.
- "Elena and I kissed earlier," he said making me turn in his direction. I caught him staring at me.
- I immediately regretted turning to him. I wish I didn't.
- "I don't care about that," I said calmly even though I knew to myself that I didn't like what he said.
- "Torrid...she svcked my lips..hard."
- I bit my lip hard. Why is he saying this?
- "She sat on my lap-
- "What's your problem?" I couldn't stop asking him.
- I saw him raise an eyebrow at me.
- "What's your problem? You kissed me the last time at the bar!"
- I stopped and looked down.
- "Sorry.. I wasn't thinking straight that time. Probably because of the alcohol," I made an excuse.
- "Oh.. yeah?" he said, mocking me. I closed my eyes. This man knew how to tease me.
- "I'm going to sleep!"
- I didn't wait for him to answer. I went back up to my room, hurrying...but before I could even open my room, Rod's angry face was already in front of me.
- He pinned me against the wall and before I could know it, his lips landed on mine claiming it like a hungry animal that haven't eaten for years.
- My eyes widened when I realized that he's kissing me torridly. I tried to move out of his grip but he didn't let me. Instead, he thrust his body to mine and I almost lost my consciousness when I felt him down there poking in my stomach.
- It's hard...
- Then.. slowly...my body didn't resist anymore. I close my eyes and snake my arms around his nape. I threw myself to him and I just felt my body lifted up in the air.
- I cross my legs around his waist and respond to his hungry kisses with the same intensity he's giving. He kissed my lips and I responded him with a moan that I couldn't restrain.
- He opened the door and walked inside my room then he laid me on my bed and kissed me again. I tilted my head upwards just to have him an access to explore my neck....
- "You smell...ahhh-beer," it's embarrassing.. I should stop this.
- "I got pissed off. You're avoiding me," he said while glaring at me.
- I turned my head to the other side. I don't want to meet his eyes.
- "We shouldn't kiss. Attorney Manilou wouldn't like it for sure." I whispered but his face just darkened as if he didn't like what I said.
- "Shut up and kiss me back!" He demanded.
