Chapter 33
- I stumbled when I came out on the other side. I looked down at my feet. Pavement. Inhaling as I looked around, there was no mistaking that stench. We were in the city on the other side. We stood beside a building that looked like it was abandoned. It was an odd place to bring people out.
- “Where’d they go?” Autumn was looking in all directions.
- “There.” Bethany pointed as her other hand clutched her stomach.
