Chapter 50
- “Come, let’s get you cleaned up,” he says, releasing me from our hug, as he peels my hands off of him.
- He captures my hand in his and walks us to my restroom. I fall into a daze as I watch him move. It’s still unbelievable to me that he is alive.
- He puts the toilet seat down and asks me to sit. Once I am seated, he tries to remove my clothes.
