• "This is your locker," Kayla said when we got to my locker. I already knew where my locker was and the code but I acted as if I didn't. "I am going to get my things out of my locker, and then we can walk to the first period together. You can sit by me if you would like," Kayla said
• "That would be great, thanks," I replied with a smile. Then, I walked with her to her locker. Once she got her things, we headed to the first period.
