Chapter 5

  • 【Elena's POV】
  • I squinted at Ethan and didn't answer his question, but instead asked, "Why do you say that?"
  • Ethan smiled, but didn't say much more. I knew that this smart guy might have already noticed that something was off.
  • He wiped his mouth with a napkin and smiled at me, "Elena, let's go. I'll take you to school."
  • Yes, worried that I would be too bored, their grandfather, the Alpha of the Storm Pack, arranged for me to attend a prestigious werewolf noble school in Hunterston.
  • This school has a lot of freedom, all courses can be chosen by oneself, which I am quite interested in. But I was a bit puzzled, why didn't they let the driver take me to school with Caleb, who also attends this school?
  • Ethan explained with a wry smile, "This is grandpa's arrangement. He asked a few of us to take turns picking you up and dropping you off at school, accompanying you. So for the next period of time, our main task is to make you happy."
  • I sighed, "Well, it's really your honor."
  • The faces of a few people immediately turned as disgusted as if they had eaten a fly. I walked happily and got into Ethan's car.
  • I had never attended a werewolf school before, so many things at the school were still quite new to me, and I had a pleasant day.
  • As the end of the school day approached, I received a message on Facebook.
  • I opened it and saw that it was from Jax Steel: "Elena, help me!"
  • Jax is one of the heirs of the Hunterston Steelbone Pack, which is also a very powerful pack. Jax used to be very arrogant, and two years ago when I came to Hunterston to find my destined Mate, he had forcibly pursued me.
  • Of course, the result was that I released Sienna and beat him up, making him run away in fear. Since then, he has recognized me as the boss. This time when I came to Hunterston, I had mentioned it to him, after all, I needed to hide my identity and didn't want this guy to ruin my plans.
  • I was curious why this guy needed my help so urgently, as an outsider, so I asked.
  • "It's about that Caleb from the Storm Pack, Storm Family! You must know him, right? After all, you are now in the Storm Family. I have a showdown with this guy tonight at Midnight Circuit."
  • I knew that the showdown he mentioned was not a real fight, but a car race - these noble werewolf families in the south always talk about civilization, and most of the time they compete in more subtle ways.
  • Of course, racing is not completely meaningless. After all, it is a very good way to test courage and reaction ability, and it can enhance one's strength. I also enjoy seeking excitement in the peak speed.
  • But to have a showdown with Caleb? I remembered the scene where I scared that guy so much that he sat on the ground, and suddenly lost interest. Defeating such a weakling would be too unfulfilling.
  • "You should find someone else," I coldly rejected Jax.
  • "Please help me! He has hired a super strong reinforcement, his big brother Denis! I really can't beat him!"
  • Denis? I suddenly became interested.
  • In the battle with Denis last night, I had my concerns and didn't dare to go all out, and he had his concerns too, so we didn't fight to our full potential. If we could have a rematch with no holds barred, I would be looking forward to it.
  • But I didn't easily agree to Jax. I am the next Alpha of the Frost Pack, how could I easily make a move?
  • "I can go, what can you offer me?"
  • "Fifty bottles of high-quality physique potion!"
  • I could almost imagine Jax gritting his teeth - potion is extremely precious in the werewolf world, especially physique potion.
  • Fifty bottles, even for him as the heir of the Steelbone Pack, would be a big loss. It was clear that this guy really wanted to win.
  • "Alright, since you are so sincere, I will help you this time."
  • "Thank you so much, I love you!"
  • I sent a message to Ethan, telling him that I had something to do and would be home late, so he didn't need to pick me up. Then, at the school gate, I got into Jax's car.
  • He was driving a Lamborghini with his picture on it, quite flashy.
  • "Shit! Who are you?"
  • He was startled by my appearance.
  • I smirked, pinching his cheek, "Take a good look, don't you recognize me?"
  • Jax stared at me for a while before asking incredulously, "Elena, is that you? Did you disfigure yourself!?"
  • I shrugged, "Didn't I tell you I needed to hide my identity? If I'm going to disguise myself, I might as well do it thoroughly."
  • "Enough talk, find me a place to remove my makeup, change clothes, and then let's go teach Denis a lesson!"
  • Jax excitedly laughed, "Alright, let's go! Haha, tonight I will become famous, defeating the representative Alpha of the strongest Storm Pack in Hunterston. I will make a name for myself in the werewolf aristocratic circle of Hunterston!"
  • Jax found a high-end hotel, where I removed the ugly makeup, revealed my true face, changed into a casual suit, and had Sienna release the pheromones of a weak Beta.
  • These series of changes were enough to ensure that even if I faced Denis face to face, he wouldn't recognize me.
  • Looking at myself in the mirror, a slight smile formed on my lips: "Denis, tonight I will show you that the wolves from the North are the strongest!"
