Chapter 39 Epilogue

• Laura was in her room staring at the white ceiling with her arms around her chest. Was it worth it? She thought. She has lost her mom, her dad, her younger sister, and even some of her friends, was it worth the fight? Was it worth risking the lives of so many people? What if she hasn't agreed to join them? What if she hasn't gotten closer to the vampires? What if she never got to find out the truth, would it have changed anything?
• There was a knock at the door but Laura was deep in thought that she didn't even hear the knock or notice the door opening. "Why do I have a feeling you are thinking again?" His voice brought her back to reality.
