• After the meeting ended, Tammy couldn't resist taking a jab at Laurel in the hallway. "Next month, I'm getting married to the eldest son of the Thanatos Group. We plan to have the wedding at the Enchanted International Hotel in Seraphia. Are you coming? I remember when you went to register your marriage, your plumber husband wasn't there, so you didn't have a wedding. That's just sad."
• Tammy looked at Laurel with pity, fully expecting her to explode angrily. To her surprise, Laurel's expression remained unchanged.
