• "Scarlet?" Thunder called. Seeing the bed is empty; he checks the bathroom, then the little balcony. But as soon as the window connecting to the balcony opened, Thunder smelled a different scent mixed with Scarlet's. "Damn it! Who abducted her? And how did they find us so quickly?" he whispered while clenching his fist. With this event, Thunder climbed the railings of the balcony and took a deep breath, trying to find Scarlet and her abductor's scent. "That fast? Who can vanish in a minute? Regular vampires can't do that?" he murmured while looking into the distance. The wind blew to the left, giving Thunder another hope that Scarlet's scent could not be summed up. "She's there!" he exclaimed. Thunder did not waste any more time; he quickly and nimbly jumped to the other building while following the scent.
• "I can smell Scarlet, but she is traveling so fast... If this continues, I will lose her!" Thunder uttered to himself while clenching his fists. He blames himself for why he left her in the room alone. Because of this, Thunder made a decision. He made a full stop to change into his wolf. "I can do this... Just focus my mind on Scarlet, and I will be fine!" he uttered. Thunder Wood never changes into his full wolf because of its outrageous power that he has difficulty controlling. But for Scarlet's sake, he will do what he has never done.
• The black energy enveloping Thunder's body was enough to cause a change in the surroundings. It started to get dark as a thick cloud began to form in the area where he was standing.
