Chapter 8

• Devon's POV
• I tucked the loose strands of hair that are falling on my sister's face. She's still sleeping, probably due to the painkillers.
• After her little episode at the convenience store yesterday, she had been staying inside her room.
• I sighed.
• Since our parents are abroad, Sarah had been a little rebellious. I guess she thought that it was a good way for our parents to give her attention. But it's never always like that.
• There were days when she's in the mood and she's so sweet.
• Sometimes, I can't help but throw a shade on our parents. I know that they are working hard for us but I am afraid this will affect negatively on my sister.
• I stood up as I remember the girl yesterday. To be honest, I didn't know exactly what happened with her and Sarah yesterday but of course, I was sure that she probably didn't do anything wrong with my sister.
• It's not that I don't trust Sarah but after seeing how worried the girl actually is when trying to do a first aid on my sister, I eventually understood that they may have a misunderstanding. My sister can be a brat sometimes.
• Also, I was a little shocked when she came in front of my house earlier. I just came out of shower and was only in my towel. I didn’t bother changing because I thought it was just one of my hyungs. I did not even check the peephole.
• It was funny how she was openly looking at my body specifically my abs and she's not even afraid to admit it in front of me. But her cheeks would still turn red.
• I appreciate the fact that she wants to make amends with my sister but she still stood firm about her stand.
• I wouldn't really allow her to come inside since my friends where around but the smell of the food had lured me.
• Plus, the situation where Noah, Jiro and Jack had seen us was a little awkward.
• I carefully closed the door on my sister's room so it won't make any sound.
• I headed back to where my friends are and saw Jack and Noah pulling out derp faces on a phone.
• I shake my head because they look stupid yet adorable.
• "Hey, what time will the others arrive? I'm still hungry." I told them as I plop down on the seat next to Jack.
• "Joshua hyung said that they are on their way."
• "Hey, Devon, you ate like 4 pieces of chicken already!" Noah smirked. They already stopped on what they were doing.
• "Dev, is Luna your girlfriend?"
• My brows furrowed as I look at Jack and Noah who were both smiling cheekily at me.
• I swear these guys.
• "Shut up, Jack. I just met the girl like yesterday!"
• "She obviously likes you, plus, she looks so hot!"
• I smacked Jack's head lightly.
• "You're still a kid but you sounded like a maniac!"
• "Ow!!!!" he massaged his head. "I will tell you on Joshua hyung."
• I just pouted.
• Since my parents aren't normally around, me and the boys usually just hang out of my house.
• I had been friends with them since high school and of course, I have been together with them for so long after we formed a group. Apart from Sarah, they are the ones that I rely with anything.
• "Seriously though, don't you like her?" he asked.
• I just shake my head in response.
• It's not that I don't like her. She's obviously beautiful even with a pair of glasses and in her work uniform. She also seems bubbly and fun to be with. She'd even hit it really well with the others and I'm pretty sure the other members would like her as well, but I just met her.
• I'm not the kind of person who jumps into something that fast.
• I looked around and noticed that someone is missing.
• "Hey, where is Jiro?" I asked them.
• Noah was still looking at the phone on his hands.
• "I don't know. He was just there earlier. Maybe he's in the bathroom."
• "Wait...You're not watching any porn right? Yah!!!! Noah hyung, Jack can't watch that!" I looked at the phone that he and Jack was checking.
• "Who owns that?" I asked and they immediately hide the phone.
• "Yahhhh!!!!!!"
• I jumped over them and tried to check on it. After so much struggling, it was able to get a hold of the phone.
• My mouth went wide open when I realized who owns it.
• "Why do have her phone?"
• Jack looked down.
• "She probably left it on the table when you guide her out." Noah said guiltily.
• "Then why were you playing with it?" I said as I stood up.
• "We thought it was yours!"
• "Aissst." I head my way out.
• I remember she said that she's living at the rooftop house just beside mine.
• It's almost 7 so it was already dark.
• I fixed my shirt when I reached the front of her door.
• Shoot. Why am I even bothering to check if I look good? You said you don't like her. Focus Devon.
• "You just need to give her phone back." I told myself.
• I lift my hand and knocked on her door. After a minute, her door swung open but I was startled when I saw who opened the door.
• "Oh, Devon, what are doing here?" Jiro asked, smirking.
• "I could ask you the same? What are doing inside her house?" I said a little pissed. I pushed him a little and made my way inside.
• "Luna?" I called for her but I heard Jiro laughing a little from behind.
• "She's taking a shower." he said before closing the door and plopping his body back on her couch.
• I don't know why but I got a little pissed.
• "Why are you here?" I asked as I sit beside him.
• "I need to ask her something so I went here." he said, not minding the harsh tone on my voice.
• "What did you need to ask?"
• He turned and look at me.
• "It's something personal. And why are you so mad. Are you her boyfriend?" his left eyebrow raised while he check on me.
• Before I can even respond, I heard the bathroom door opened, then Luna's voice came in, her hands peaking outside.
• "Jiroeee, can you get my towel inside my bedroom? I forgot to bring one. It was on my bed."
• My brows furrowed.
• Jiro?
• I turned to look at Jiro but he just shrugged.
• I went to what seems to be her room and took the towel at the top of her bed. Once I have it, I went back to the living room and handed her towel.
• "Thanks." she muttered.
• After a few minutes, I heard the door cracked open, this time, Luna went out on just her towel, like how she saw me earlier, except this time, she looks so fucking hot.
• I gulped.
• I looked at her as she tugged the hem of the towel. It was too short it was hanging lowly just three inches above her knees. I had to resist the urge of covering her body since Jiro was around.
• She haven't seen me.
• "Do you always just allow guys enter your room?!!!"
• Once her eyes landed on me, she immediately covered her chest, her cheeks crimson red.
• Why does she looks so cute while being sexy at the same time?
• "I'm sorry, what?" she asked, her face looked confused.
• I walked to her direction and I saw how she step backed a little until her back was pressed against the door.
• "What are you doing?" her voice sounded so sexy.
• I stopped just a step closer to her face.
• I look straight to her eyes. "You forgot your phone,"
• "Ohhhh." she replied as she took her phone on my hands.
• I sighed.
• "You shouldn't be letting any guy come inside your room, especially if you're alone." I can't help it. My voice got a little stern.
• The mere thought of her inside a house with another guy, though Jiro was my friend, pisses me off a little and I don't even understand why.
• "And is about to shower," I added.
• She looked down a little embarrass, the confident girl that was standing in front of me two hours ago was replaced by a timid and shy girl.
• Her hair was disheveled and she looked so hot. Before I knew it, my hands automatically acted on its own and I tuck the few strands of her hair which are hanging loosely right beside her beautiful face.
• My heart started to beat a little fast.
• "Are you both going to re-enact your scene earlier?" I heard Jiro hyung from behind. "Because if you would, please tell me because I will go out. I don't want to see the both of you being all too intimate. It's cringy."
• "Oh God." I heard Luna muttered.
• "Shut up Jiro! Why are you even here?" I said as I turned around.
• "Why? Are you jealous that I'm here?"
• "Tssss." Devon snickered. This shortie.
• I looked back to her and pushed her a little so she can enter her room. "What are you not changing?" I asked a little pissed.
• And then my eyes landed on her red lips.
• I gulped.
• Stop, Devon. I told to myself.
• You can't kiss her. I thought you said you don't like her?
• I looked up and saw her gulped while biting her lips.
• She's so hot. What the actual fuck.
