• After a solid workout at the gym near the hotel, he took a shower there and changed into the clothes he had prepared in advance. Once done, he began the leisurely walk back. The distance wasn't short-he'd need about ten minutes to reach the hotel.
• His phone had run out of battery, so he couldn't call or text Annie. He figured she was probably awake by now. Worried she might be hungry, Finn stopped by a nearby coffee shop that looked popular and bought some pastries and coffee to bring back for her.
