Chapter 39 Doubting Her

• Tatum drove the car to where Brianna was holding the guy restrained. Lucien wanted to help, but Brianna restricted him. She was waiting for anything Tatum would give her to tie the captive up securely.
• "Sir, please get in the car. We will put this guy in the trunk, and we will head out," Brianna stated. But Lucien did not comply. He stood there watching every move she made.
• She skillfully tied the man with a rope. Tatum helped to lift the guy into the trunk, but both Lucien and Tatum were taken by surprise when Brianna checked the guy's mouth for something and pulled out of it a capsule.
