• Seeing Ivy makes Piper roar in rage because of what happened to the necklace. Her reputation was ruined, and as soon as she returned to New York, some looked at her in disgust.
• And how could Ivy do that to her? They give them shelter and the like. Her brother gave her money, yet she dared to set her on fire?
• Piper wanted to rip Ivy’s face. She shot a glare at her as she gritted her teeth. She roamed her eyes to Ivy from head to toe. Afterward, she looked for the manager of the restaurant.
