Chapter 4

• The next day at five o'clock in the morning, Hailey woke up because she still has to review for the examination that would be held at nine o'clock. Just because of the problem she was thinking about last night, she was not able to focus on her notes.
• She took her book and carried it out of the room, she found her friend sleep safe and sound in the living room. She carefully laid the books on the sofa just not to make any noise. She does not want to wake up her friend. She slowly approached her friend's direction and picked up the blanket that had fallen and cover it back to her friend's body.
• After that, she went straight to the kitchen and started cooking their breakfast. It ended quickly because she only cooked fried dishes like hotdogs, bacon and pancakes. She laid it properly on the dining table and when she was done, she brewed coffee before starting to eat. Her meal only lasted a few minutes due to she was in a hurry. She still has to study. She should have not failed because if yes, she would lose her schooling. She put away her food first and hurried to the living room with her coffee. She put down on the top of the small table the cup of coffee and sat on the vacant sofa. She quickly picked up the book and began to review it.
• She almost spent two hours studying. At around seven-thirty in the morning, she put away her books and went to her room to arranged her belongings and then went straight to the bathroom to take a bath. About half an hour also passed before she was able to organize herself. When she looked at the clock hanging on the wall, she saw it was eight o'clock in the morning. She badly needs to go ahead or else she will be marked late.
• After she came out of her room, her friend was still asleep. She left a note in the kitchen for her friend and decided to go ahead in school.
• After she got out of the apartment, she started walking to board the jeep. The terminal station was close to where she was staying so she didn't have much difficulty in transportation. After five minutes of walking, she already reached the terminal and there was a jeep was about to go. She got on immediately inside the public vehicle just to make her not late for school.
• At exactly eight-thirty, she arrived at the university where she was attending. As soon as she entered, the students scattered everywhere, some were busy studying, some were busy chatting with their friends and some were already just doesn't seem to care about exams. She just ignored them and continued walking to her respective room.
• If you ask if her best friend Jade is studying? the answer is yes, she is studying at an expensive university and she is out of school today. That's the reason why she is in her apartment sleeping.
• When she was in front of the door, she could not hear any noise from inside. It looked like her classmates was studying seriously. She just went in and sat in her chair to wait for their professor. Not long after of waiting, it arrived at exactly nine o'clock and their exam was about to begin.
• Almost three hours passed, Hailey's exam ended. Fortunately and almost everything she reviewed came out on the test paper because otherwise, she would surely fail. After their professor left, her other classmates followed.
• Hailey packed her things inside her bag before leaving their room. It was about noon and she needed to go to the restaurant where she worked. It's not far from the university and she also going to eat her lunch there because it's free.
• It was about twelve-thirty in the afternoon when she arrived at the restaurant. She immediately went straight to the locker to put her bag and wear her uniform as a waitress. She immediately went to the kitchen to eat lunch before starting work.
• "Oh, you are early. It's still not your duty yet." One of their chefs commented.
• "I don't have anything else to do at the university so I just went here right away." She replied
• "Okay. Anyway, eat your lunch." The chef said before going back to what he was doing.
• Hailey immediately took food to eat then after, start working. She's lucky to the thought that the food here is free so somehow, it added to her daily savings. She's not poor, she also has money in her savings but she doesn't want to use it because her parents gave it to her and the day she left the house, she no longer use the money in her bank account.
• After eating lunch, she prepares herself for her duty.
• "Ley, kindly take order number 23." Her co-worker requested.
• She immediately nodded and walked over to the costumer's table. She saw a man talking to another man, she could not see the look because it was turned away from where he was.
• When she got close to them she immediately ask, "Hi excuse me, goodafternoon Sir, may I take your order?" she said politely while smiling.
• "Killian, did you choose what to eat? So that we can order while we are discussing the business proposal." the man asked
• The smile quickly disappeared from Hailey's lips when she heard what the man said. She looked to her side and her eyes almost popped out when she saw Killian who was also staring at her while smiling.
• She was swallowed up one after another. 'Is this karma? Why I need to see this man's face today? What sin have I committed and am I being punished like this .'- she thought to herself
• She just turned her gaze back to the man she had talked to first to avoid the look the young man was giving her.
• "Can I have one rice and one of your best seller seafood, one vegetable salad and a pineapple juice." Killian suddenly said that she also wrote immediately without looking at it.
• "How about you sir?" she ask to Killian's companion
• "One beef stick, one rice, one slice of red velvet cake and one soda please." the guy answered.
• "Thank you Sir." Hailey said and was about to leave when Killian suddenly spoke which she stopped
• "Is that how you treat your costumer here?" Killian suddenly spoke again
• The girl looked at him confused.
• "Next time when you are talking to a costumer and getting their order show your respect to them, when person talking to you face them properly. Don't act stupid, woman!" He said.
• She almost bowed because of the embarrassment she felt, it was a good thing that it was not loud and only the three of them could hear it.
• "Hey man, chill! Don't embarrass Ms. Beautiful." Uno patted him.
• He turned his gazed to Hailey. "You can go now Miss."
• She nods and left to take their order.
• It didn't take long for the food they ordered to be ready, no wonder why they were cooked and arranged so quickly because the costumer was both a billionaire and besides that, Killian was the nephew of the restaurant owner.
• Hailey asked a favor to one of her waitress colleagues that she would be the one to deliver the order for them, even though her colleague was surprised, she didn't ask because she also looked excited to see their costumer face to face.
