• Devon asked as he sat at the restaurant Cleo had invited him to, it was pretty much private in here but he was still uncomfortable, he just didn't want to be associated with Cleo in whatever way, but she had threatened to get Laura involved if he didn't meet her, speaking of Laura it had felt like hell lying to her like he did this morning, saying he had something to do at the agency when in fact he was meeting up with his crazy ex.
• She was in her signature heavy makeup but instead of her usual tight clothes she was wearing a loose gown, he took notice because he was someone who always notices everything around him so it wasn't anything special.
