• Christina had no choice but to follow Max into the restaurant. It was either that or wait out there in the car and she didn't trust him enough to wait. For all she knew, it might be a prank to keep her out there until she was tired and frustrated while he remained inside.
• She was at least going to make sure that he was serious about eating so that he would finish on time and take her back home. At this point, she would've chosen to wait for Bryce instead of following him home. He was intentionally trying his best to irritate her and it was pretty obvious.
