• “Why are you closing the box when you haven’t finished looking whether everything is there?” Octavius asked when he saw her closing the box.
• Rhiannon didn’t reply to him as she was busy closing the box. She had already checked whether all of the jewels were there so she didn’t see the need to remove every of them one by one just for the men in the room to see them.
• Also, she knew that Octavius seemed to know her mother’s identity and she didn’t want him to give him more reasons to believe that he was right as that would be risky.
