Chapter 26 Care Less

• Anastasia's POV
• The sun streaked in through the window. It was morning already. Yesterday's scene played in my head and shook my head to get it away from my mind. My heart did a flip in my chest as I thought about seeing Jace this morning. I didn't even know how to face him, or what I'll do if he tried to talk to me. Would I just run away or would I chide him for what he tried to do to me yesterday.
• I decided against everything. It would be really nice just to go for either a walk or a run just to avoid any further embarrassment.
