• The doctor entered the ward with a warm smile. Jessica sat up slightly, her hand moving to the bandaged wound on her side. William stood beside her bed, his arms crossed with his gaze focused on the doctor.
• "Good news," the doctor began, flipping through his clipboard. "You're officially out of danger. But you'll need plenty of rest and should avoid any strenuous activities. Your wound needs time to heal properly."
• Jessica nodded. "Thank you, doctor. Does that mean I can be discharged today?"
