Chapter 7 Saving The Badboy

• "Yeah, I ruined everywhere because i couldn't find any clothe to wear that could fit me better for the date", She said.
• She furrowed her brown," Yeah that one is better",Precious said and Emily smiled.
• "Oh great", Emily said excited. " I should get ready, please do have your seat while i go in and freshen up",She said and entered the bathroom with the dress in her hand.
• Precious looked around before she walked to the chair closed to the mirror and took her seat.
• "This is girl is so urgh", Precious said under her breathe.
• Sean drove his car to his hostel and parked it at the garage at the edge of the hostel. He grabbed the drink from where he kept it before he got down from his car. Sean slammed the door hard before he locked the car with his key, he walked into his hostel and took the stairs to his dorm. As he stepped on the stairs he opened the liquor and began to drink, he felt weak as he drank more, he walked hastily till he got to his dorm. Sean dipped his hands into he's pocket but couldn't find he's key. He remembered he must has left it on top of the table.
• He made a load groan and hit his hand on the door," Now i have to wait for that annoying chip to come back",Sean said angrily and fell on the ground.
• Sean felt he's dying inside, he needed his drug to regain strength since the liquor isn't working. He drank from the bottle of liquor again, but it made it worst. His heart began to burn, he rested his back on the door and free his hands making the open bottle of liquor rolled out from his hands down to the hallway. He closed his eyes weakly, if he couldn't take he's drug anytime soon his going to loose his life. Sean body fell to the ground as he tried hard to breathe.
• "Drug..", Sean tried to speak out.
• He couldn't call for help because the hostel was empty and Precious isn't anywhere close to save him.
• At Emily's dorm, Precious was still seated on the chair waiting for Emily patiently.
• "She's taking forever", Precious said to herself angrily. " But if my plans isn't set already how am i gonna hook her up with one of the badboys",She thought.
• She stood up and start pacing around the room. "Andrew told me to meet up with him, i can use Andrew", She said and bite her lips. " Why didn't i though of it",She said to herself angrily.
• Precious opened her bag, hopefully searching for the card, she frowned her browns.
• "Dammit i forgot it at the dorm", Precious said angrily.
• " Is there a problem?",Emily asked from the bathroom.
• "No thanks", Precious said and rushed to the door.
• " I need to get it since is in the dorm or my plans isn't gonna work out",Precious said to herself.
• She opened the door and rushed out of the dorm, leaving the door open, she ran through the stairs out of the main hostel heading to hers.
• She nudged a guy away as she ran,"Sorry",Precious said without looking back.
• Karl, whom she has nudged turned back angrily and looked her while she runs,"Watch it girl",He said angrily.
• Karl grinned his teeth seeing she has gone so far and couldn't hear his voice.
• "You are gonna pay this", Karl said angrily as he brought out his napkin and cleaned his shirt.
• Precious got the her hotel panting and sweating already, she climbed the stairs gently as she tried to catch her breathe.
• Getting to the dorm she saw a bottle of liquor on the ground, the ground is wet.
• " What happened here?",Precious asked herself jn fear as she walked slowly to the dorm.
• "Oh God", She screamed onseeing Sean helpless body on the ground.
• Precious rushed to where he was and struggled to raise him up, she touched his nose trying to fell his breath.
• " Thank God, his still alive",Precious said to herself as she quickly raised his body up. "Somebody help", She screamed but no one came around to help. " Yes, a doctor",She said to herself as she wrapped his hand round her neck and wrapped her hand round his waist. "Open your eyes please", She said calmly as a drop of tears fell down from her eyes.
• Precious struggled slowly and walked him downstairs.
• " Stay alive okay,am taking you to the hospital",Precious said continuously to the Sean who wasn't showing any sign of survival.
• In a large office, a lady was seated on a chair with a script in her hands, she couldn't stop smiling as she read with her eye's still on the script. She's Mrs Chapel Hill Ronald, the CEO of the bakery company, she's fifty of age but looks more younger than her age due to the way she dresses, her make up and the way she takes care of herself. With the expensive jewelrie on her, it could tell she's rich.
• The door opened and a lady just like her age came in, she dress just like her but she didn't put on much jewelries, She's Mrs Sheila Sheppard also a CEO and a full owner of a milk company, her company also produce junk food also.
• Mrs.Chapel Hill Ronald and Mrs. Sheila Sheppard relationship are complicated, they both work together after they have signed a contract agreement to join their two company together and now they are fond of each other due to the collaboration with each other.
• "Can i come in Mrs. Ronald?", Mrs. Shiela asked with a huge smile on her face.
• Mrs. Ronald stood up smiling back at her," Sure have your seat", she said pointing at the empty chair close to the table.
• Mrs. Sheppard walked to the chair, she drew it out from the table before she took her seat.
• " You don't know how happy i am to see you here",Mrs. Ronald said with delight.
• Mrs. Shiela chuckled,"I didn't came here for business",She said.
• "Oh, you must have heard about my family reunion", Mrs. Ronald said as she opened the table drawer, she dipped her hand in and brought out a card before she locked it.
• " Too bad i didn't get my invitation",Mrs. Shiela said faking an angry face.
• She laughs slowly as stretch her hand to give Mrs. Shiela the card,"You know this invitation is for your daughter, not for you", She said.
• Mrs. Shiela frowned her browns,"What do you mean is for my daughter?",She asked confused as she took the card from her hand.
• "Well, since Sean my son isn't interested in getting any girl soon, i guess your daughter Mia must be a good match for him", Mrs. Ronald said.
• She widened her eyes as she quickly open the card," I can't believe this",Mrs. Shiela said happily.
• Mrs. Ronald furrowed her brows, she dip her hands into her drawer again and brought out another card,"I know you are gonna ruin that one, so please don't open this, send this invitation to Mia",She said. She breathed out,"You know if am less busy i would have mail the card to her, but i have a lot of work to do and since the family reunion is next week i have to set..",
• She cuts in,"No no no is fine, you know Mia she will definitely understand and apart from that, i also can't believe we are going to be related as one family excluding us working as a team for our company",Mrs. Shiela said happily.
• "I have always wish for the best of both our children, can't wait for them to meet each other as a couple just to get to know each other", Mrs Ronald said dreamily and Mrs. Shiela joined her imaging how it would be like seeing them together. " Isn't it better you call Mia and tell her, so she's gonna get prepared for the family reunion?", She asked.
• "Today is just Thursday, we still got time, i want to make it be just like a surprise to her", Mrs. Shiela said.
• " Okay then Mrs. Shiela Sheppard i better get back to work now",Mrs. Ronald said.
• She stood up from the chair," I better be going too",Mrs. Shiela said and dismissed.
• At the hospital, Precious was outside the treatment room watching the activities going on inside.
• The door opened as one of the doctor came out, Precious quickly rushed to where he was and grabbed him by his hand.
• "Sir please is he okay?", Precious asked.
• " Follow me to my office ma'am and you will get the whole information you need",The doctor said.
• Precious nodded her head before she took her hands off him. She followed the doctor from behind while he took the lead to his office. It was a long walk before they got there, she waited as he opened his office door before they got in.
• Precious quickly took her seat before the doctor walked round the table and took his too.
• He heaved a sign,"Am doctor Ramesh",He introduced.
• "Is he okay Doctor Ram?", Precious asked ignoring what he said.
• " Calm down young lady, he is",He replied and Precious heaved a sigh of relief. "Are you in anyway related to him?", Doctor Ramesh asked.
• She thought about it a bit," C'mon just forget that and save him",The voice in her mind said and she mentally accepted. "Yes, he's.. His.. My roommate", Precious stammered in response.
• Doctor Ramesh rest his hands on the table slowly," Do you have any idea if he has been taking hard drug or anything?", He asked.
• Precious thought about it recalling how he used to take drug badly for strength,"Yes yes..., he does take drugs in a bad way",She responded.
• "Whatever drug he is taking, he should stop it because if he didn't, it might destroy his system, when i mean by that, am taking about his kidney, since he has two one of them is already having failure it can't continue to subsidence more, if he keeps on taking hard things, there is a possibility that he can loose both of them and maybe, his life also", Doctor Ramesh explained.
• Precious heart began to beat rapidly," How can i stop him from taking such kind of hard drug or whatever, why do i even care, i only saved his life not wanting to heal it",She thought.
• "And i believe you can stop him from that", Doctor Ramesh added.
• Precious snapped out of her thoughts," Ye..yes..yes",She stuttered.
• "You don't respond as if you can do it", Doctor Ramesh said noticing how unsure she sounds.
• " Is there any drug that could help sir?",Precious asked.
• "Yes", Doctor Ramesh replied and stood up walking to a huge locker.
• " Even if he does, how can i make him take it?",She thought as Doctor Ramesh came in with a packaged sachet.
• "Take this one for now", Doctor Ramesh said as Precious collected it from his hand.
• " I..have..to go",Precious said and stood up. "Can i see him now?", She asked.
• " Yes, but he must heal first before he can be dismissed",Doctor Ramesh responded.
• Precious forced a fake smile before she walked to the door, opened it and closed it as she got out before she left heading to the ward.
• Precious got to the ward where Sean was, he's already awake and was taking off the drip fixed to his hands. She rushed towards him to stop him but he pushed her away.
• "You can't take that off you haven't heal yet", Precious said angrily as she stood up from the ground.
• " Why do you care huh?",Sean asked as he stood up from the bed.
• "Is not like i care, but i'm saying this for your lifesake", Precious retorted.
• " Sorry but my life is none of your business",Sean half yelled at her walking to the door, the nurses who came around tried to stop him but he shoot them a glare and they back off.
• Precious rushed to where he was and dragged him back with force, he turned to look back at her in anger.
• "I realize i was wrong for saving your helpless ass, i would have let you die, i shouldn't have struggled my head off just to bring you here", Precious said angrily at the top of her voice.
• " I don't give a fuck young lady so you better",... Sean raised his voiceback at her but Precious cut him short of words.
• She cuts in and pushed him, he landed his back at the door without falling, She began to cry knowing how she have suffered to carry him here and he wasn't showing any sign of appreciation,"You really don't deserve to live okay, you are heartless and you know what you are right, my life doesn't have anything to do with yours and for now you are on your own, here is your drug if you like you take it and if you like you die, i don't care no more, i think we are better been haters to ourselves", Precious said angrily before she nudged him away from the door,opened it and left.
• Precious ran out of the hospital in tears, crying heavily, she continued running heading to the hostel even though it's far from where she was she didn't stop running.
• Precious sniffed her nose and said,"I shouldn't have saved him",She whimpered.
• Sean was still standing at the door, he squeezed the drug in his hands as he clenched his hands into a fist and stormed out of the hospital heading to his dorm.
• "I think you should apologize to her, she saved your life",The voice in his mind said.
• Sean made a loud groan out of frustration trying to get his mind off his thoughts as he walkes back to his hostel.
• Precious ordered some food before she got to her dorm, she unlocked the door before she entered, she kicked the door close and her phone began to vibrate from her pocket. Precious dipped her hand into her pocket and brought out her phone.
• She tapped a bottin in your phone before she put her phone on her ear," Hello",Precious said.
• "Hi Precious, am all ready, where are you?", Emily asked from the other side of the phone.
• " Uhm..badnews Emily, change of plans, how about tomorrow unfailingly?",Precious said sadly.
• "Okay then, but please don't fail me again this time", Emily said and hang up.
• Precious walked to the table and dropped the food on top. Her phone vibrated again, she looked at the caller and smiled before clicking on the answer bottin.
• " Hello mom",Precious said on call as she walked to the bed.
