• I hadn't gotten used to the fact that Declan hadn't aged one bit. He still looked like he was in his twenties..and that was particularly annoying cause he was old enough to be my great-grandfather. I knew he was about three hundred years old but it was shocking nonetheless to see him unchanged when I was far from the person I was.
