Chapter 10

• As he entered the packhouse, Carter whistled a song, bringing with him the documents that the Alpha would love. He greeted the servants and headed to Raven's office. Carter opened the door and saw Raven glued to his phone while smiling like an idiot.
• "You like a lovesick fool," Carter said. Raven looked at him and glared, then put his phone down. "How was your trip yesterday? You were in a hurry," he added.
• "It's good. Brienne gave me a chance," Raven happily said. "The only thing bothering me was the place she was staying," he added.
