Chapter 12 The Deal

• Jade kept challenging me and pushing all my buttons ever since I decided to have a word with her. I had just wanted to know why she was avoiding me but her answer made me see red. It took me several seconds, and a lot of willpower, to let her go back out there without marking her as mine for all to see.
• I wanted her to bear my mark, to bear my pups too, but it sure seemed like a far away dream at the moment.
• And then, when I went to get her from her room, I saw red a second time.
