Chapter 3 My New Home

• Ashley's POV
• I felt my heart stop beating when I heard that the captured warriors had arrived at my wedding venue.
• "How would I face them?" I weakly muttered as I looked at Leon who was smiling widely, as if he was enjoying seeing me wallow in pain and misery.
• "Let's go and welcome our guest" Leon said to me as he dragged me to meet with them.
• I looked ahead to the gathered crowd, I knew that that was were they were all standing. As I got closer I saw Karen and my mom look at me with pity, they also had the same expression of fear and worry on their faces.
• "Out of the way!" Leon loudly commanded and like people who were spellbound, the crowd divided into two, leaving the captured warriors, I and Leon alone in the middle.
• "Ash!" Williams and Bradley called me with a confused face. They kept scanning me from head to toe as if they were fighting with reality in their heads.
• "What's going on here?" Williams angrily shouted as he ran to meet me. "Ashley, what is this? Why are you in this?". He asked, pointing his hands on my wedding gown.
• I couldn't bring myself to telling the truth. Where was I supposed to start explaining from?".
• "Answer him, Ashley" Bradley shouted at me for the first time.
• "Don't you dare yell at my wife!" Leon surprisingly defended me.
• "Wife?" Bradley and Williams asked in disbelief.
• Bradley ran to me, holding my shoulders and shaking me. "Tell me it's not true, Ash. Tell everyone it's not true".
• I saw the disappointment in his eyes and I heard betrayal in his voice.
• "Please, Ashley. Please" he said, drawing me into his arms for an embrace.
• "Don't you….." Leon wasn't allowed to finish his words when Williams hit him hard on the face. The blow was so hard that it sent Leon to the fall. Everyone gasping to the turn of events.
• "Williams!!!" Alpha Elvis and Luna Olivia shouted at Williams rash behavior.
• "Alpha….." Zolan and Xander rushed to help Leon who had fallen.
• I pushed Bradley away and rushed to stop Zolan and Xander as they moved to hold Williams down.
• "Please, don't Leon …" I desperately needed this man to stop his men else I wonder what would happen to Williams. He had been in Leon's custody for a while and I'm sure he is weak. He won't be able to take down Zolan and Xander, they looked extremely skilled and frightening just like Leon.
• "Leon….". I kept looking at this man as Zolan and Xander surrounded Williams. Bradley went into the tiny circle to join Williams.
• "Please….." this time around,my voice was louder. I was feeling weak and fainty and just right there I staggered and almost fell but someone was fast enough to catch me before I hit the ground.
• "Ashley…." I held my mother shout in fear, distracting everyone from their little fight.
• I weakly opened my eyes and I saw Leon, we were on mid-air. He saved me from falling and carried me in a bridal style but I kicked my legs telling him to let me down.
• "You sure you want to go down after that dumb stunt you pulled off right now?" Leon whisper was spine shivering but I was more angry, this stupid mate of mine thought I faked my fainting just to save the situation.
• "Let me down already " I said and he did put me down roughly that I fell to the ground.
• "Ashley " Bradley shouted and ran to me, raising me up. I felt loved, I knew I'd always have few people who loved me regardless of my background.
• "Ash, just stay with me and I swear I'd protect you even if it means giving up my life in exchange".
• Bradley's little show of love made me finally cry. At that point, I couldn't care less of the wedding. I might as well just elope with Bradley but I know better that the situation wasn't in our favor.
• "Bradley.. ' I called him, holding his face tenderly, not minding the piercing eyes on me. "Just know, I love you but I also can't go back to you. I sold my freedom in exchange" I finally said it out. I refuse to look like a cheap tramp infront of everyone. I could as well take the chance to ruin Leon's already terrible image and also to disgrace my father.
• "Ashley!" Williams called. I ran to hug him before going to hug Bradley tightly.
• "Group hug" I heard Karen say and we all hugged each other with tears in our eyes.
• Immediately we separated, I walked away without looking back. I walked into the car as Leon and his men followed and then we drove off to my new home; the Dark park fortress.
• As we proceeded in the journey, I felt sleepy and then everything blacked out. I felt light taps on my shoulder and just then I opened my eyes to see a mighty building with lots of people wining and dining.
• "Welcome to my empire" Leon happily said before coming down from the vehicle.
• I also came down and went to meet Leon where he was standing, despite hating him, I had to admit that he was the only one I knew in this place so it would be better if I just stick next to him.
• "Welcome home son" Luna Becca said to Leon with a warm smile before looking at me.
• "You're so beautiful child, welcome home".
• "Thank you Luna" I replied back, bowing my head a little with a smile.
• "Mom! Call me Mom".
• "Alright mom".
• "Then let's go".
• I, Luna Becca and Leon went into the hall where the party was taking place. It was a welcome party for us.
• I could feel the mean and piercing gazes on me, it was like they all hated me.
• "What? My brother's wife looks like a teenager" a beautiful lady said loudly as she came to greet I and Leon.
• "Welcome back brother".
• "Thanks Andrea".
• "Ashley,this is Andrea, Leon's younger sister" Luna Becca introduced her to me.
• "Hi, I'm Ashley " I said stretching my hands out for a handshake.
• "Well you know my name, I'm Andrea Stone " she said proudly, ignoring my outstretched hands.
• "Bianca!!" Andrea said happily as she ran to hug her. " Why did you allow my brother marry a high school student, Bianca" Andrea loudly said so everyone around us could hear.
• "Andrea stop it!!" Luna Becca shouted at her but instead of feeling remorseful, Andrea rolled her eyes and walked away.
• "Seems like I have some people who doesn't like me" I thought inwardly. "Leon, Bianca and Andrea".
