• I gathered Bianca and a few trusted members of my pack in the war room of the palace. We needed a plan, and we needed it fast. Olivia was still in Nate’s clutches, and the longer we waited, the more danger she faced. I paced back and forth, I was dead anxious and frustrated. “We need to locate Nate’s hideout, and we need to do it now,” I declared, turning to Bianca, who stood beside me, her brow furrowed in concentration.
• “First, we need information,” Bianca said, her voice steady and reassuring. “Nate’s not going to make it easy for us. He knows we’re after Olivia. But we can’t rely solely on brute force; we have to be strategic.”
