• “Saul.” The lump in my throat was so large that I could barely get the words out. “She’s so damn cold.”
• “Then let’s get her warm.” Ever the steady wolf, Saul opened the door to my room, and I carried her inside. Now that she was in my arms again, the last thing I wanted to do was let her go, but even Kenzi was looking at her anxiously.
