Chapter 149

• He gently but roughly pulled Jason pale body out of the ground which was half buried beside the bank of the Lake. How he managed to get the strength in pulling Jason out of the sand, remains a mystery to Jorkallun.
• Jorkallun stood beside Jason's dead body and looked out across the little Lake which colour was oddly different though it appears green but when you look at the lake carefully you'd see it's white, strange, but he removed that thought from his mind as tears blurred his vision. He couldn't bear the thought of not knowing the condition of Roen, Lillian, Rosa and his beloved mate is right now. He hopes Sarah isn't dead. How would he ever face Roen and Rosa again after everything if they eventually survive the poison? Jason's death would break their hearts. He dropped to his knees, the tears falling down his cheeks as grief took him. He curled up on the bank and cried and coughs out more blood.
