Chapter 605 Sometimes, You Have to Flex

• Sebastian had finally gotten hold of the Demon Suppression Bloodline, but heading home wasn't so simple. It wasn't that he couldn't go back—he just didn't have enough power to use the Shadowdisk to open a gate all the way to the mortal world.
• What really got him excited was that the Shadowdisk allowed him to sense signals from the mortal world. Since it was a low-level realm, the space there was fragile and easy to pierce through, which made it easier to travel there from a higher realm. Even so, Sebastian was blown away—he knew jumping across realms on the same level was already a big deal, but the fact that the Shadowdisk could go from a stronger world to a weaker one made him question whether it had even come from the mortal world at all.
• After leaving Vilewood, Sebastian headed straight back to Halodan. He originally wanted to use the Shadowdisk again, but the space around there was way too solid. Opening a gate would take forever, drain a ton of energy, and attract way too much attention—something he'd never run into before.
