• Vincent and I were in Mykonos for a long-overdue honeymoon. Technically, it wasn’t a vacation; he was still working, and I doubt he’d ever not work. Rocco and Matteo had accompanied us, and he was always on the move, his mind constantly thinking of ways to make money, to grow his businesses, and expand his territory. After spending a week here checking on his holiday resorts in the Greek Islands, we’d be going to check on his vineyard in Tuscany.
• I just came along for the ride and to keep his bed warm. Truthfully, I worked along with him, invading his IT department, talking shop, and sharing ideas with his capable staff.
