• The scene I walked into on getting home, was so unexpected, it made me come to a standstill at once.
• It was a scene of Mia, kneeling on one of the couches beside the window. She was looking out of it and singing a song which filled up the entire room. It was a familiar song that forced out some of the memories which I had shut down so many years ago. Her voice sounded like that of a siren, beautiful, melodic and oh so soothing.
