There she was, sitting in a chair with an air of authority, looking down at the baddies on the floor. Claire let out a long breath, feeling a warmth in her eyes. Thank goodness Ada was okay. She had been prepared and was strong enough to handle it. Ada was someone, besides Alexandre Montfort, who believed in and protected Claire without question. She was Claire's sister, connected by blood. It felt good. Claire couldn't help but smile. She would protect Ada with her life from now on.
• On the screen, Leo confirmed that the attack on Void and the others was orchestrated by Scott Muller's crew. He had them all taken away—six in total. Some were locked up, while others were given medical attention. Then Leo personally searched the guys who had gone after Ada. He found shurikens, ninja swords, hand guards, and smoke bombs on them. He even pulled out some lethal capsules from their mouths—the kind that would kill them if bitten. If Ada hadn't neutralized them, Leo would have been searching three corpses instead. As each item was found, people started to get a sense of who these guys were. Once Leo was sure there was nothing else on them, he asked Ada to lift the poison. When they came to, and Ada asked if they were ninjas, all three shook their heads vigorously.
