Chapter 5 A Night Out with Ashton

• During my vacation, I wandered near the film city for a long time before finally stumbling upon a secluded little restaurant with amazing food.
• That evening, I left first. Before heading out, I even had my assistant send over all of Ashton’s disguise items to avoid any chance of him being recognized and causing unnecessary misunderstandings. But when he walked into the restaurant, I realized how ridiculous I’d been. Even wrapped up in layers with his features completely hidden, Ashton’s unmistakable presence gave him away instantly.
• Once we were seated, I couldn’t help but notice that he seemed unusually cheerful today. While his face was still calm and composed, the slight lift in his tone was something rare.
