CHAPTER 31 : TO GAIN
- The sun was only a pale yellow-silver of warning, shipping fast below the darkening horizon when Mart dropped her off at her residence. Aims didn't like being out after dark due to the previous incident a year ago which left a phobia of night strolls.
- After their goodbyes, Aims retired to her room. She just buried herself in bed, clenched into her bosom– her family portrait frame~ hopeless tears desperately drenched her into moaning.
- “ What kind of destiny was she journeying towards?”~ the thoughts just kept sweeping in. “Is everyone's own like mine?... Why is my life full of pain and anguish?” She slurred.
