Chapter 7 What Is Going On Here?

• KNOCK! KNOCK!! KNOCK!!!
• Conner released his grip from her hair and let her go as he heard the loud slam at the door.
• Angelina raised her head up and gasped for air, she began to pant heavily as she tried to catch her breath.
• Conner grab her by the hair and she gasped. He pulled it backward and made her look up at him. She tried to hold his hand so she could remove it from her hair but he held it more tightly.
• "This is just the beginning Lina and I would have killed you if it isn't because of that fool knocking at the fucking door", He pushed her away and she fell on her stomach, hitting it against the glass tub.
• He stormed out of the bathroom and walks to the door. He arranged his shirt before he opened the door to see his brother, Ethan standing outside.
• " What is going on?", Ethan asked with a smirked.
• He knew Conner hate it when he gives him that look, it makes him angry so he did it on purpose to piss him off.
• "None of your business", Conner respond and shoot him an angry glare.
• "I am not here to fight with you or get in between you and your wife, just came to send you a message", Ethan said.
• " And what is that?"
• "Mom wants to see you, she's on her way to meet death", Ethan said.
• Conner pushed Ethan away and rushed out of the room.
• Ethan scoffs," Fool", He said and walks into the room.
• He scanned around the massive room, searching if he could find Angelina around.
• She has melt his heart at that moment he gaze into her beautiful hazel eyes. He couldn't stop thinking of her as his head couldn't stop flashing memories of her beautiful face and his hands couldn't stop yearning to touch her soft skin once again. He has never been attracted to woman this in way during all his playboy life and now he desires her more than ever.
• He heard a voice coming out from the bathroom and quickly rushed in to see who is there.
• He entered the bathroom and saw Angelina in tub, sobbing with her face buried in her palm, her body drenched with water.
• He paused and stared at her sexy curves that were revealing on the wet clothes. He couldn't take his eyes off her as he stared from her face down to her thighs that were surrounded with water.
• "What... What are you doing here?", Angelina stuttered and wiped the tears off her face. She stood up from the tub and tried to act like nothing happened.
• Ethan snapped out of his losted marbles and gaze into her red eyes. Her beautiful hazel eyes were now bloodshot and he felt bad for her. He could see the hotred written in her eyes ond didn't need any explanation from her to justify his brother is the monster behind her tears.
• Angelina noticed the woy his eyes were gawking at her half naked body and she felt uncomfortable about. She covered her cleavage down to her thigh with her hands as she gaze at the ground.
• Ethan turned and walked out of the bathroom. He came back again with a towel in his hands and threw it at her.
• "Thanks", Angelina said in a whispered as she caught the towel and wrapped it around her body.
• "My brother did this to you right?", Ethan asked.
• "You should leave now", Angelina said as she stepped out of the tub.
• Her body were shivering and she felt like she has caught a cold.
• "I can't leave until you tell me", Ethan said,
• "Please leave", Angelina said with a shakery voice.
• Her body were shivering and her legs, trembling. Her teeth were shaking and making a cracking voice.
• She tried to walk but her legs twisted and made her fall on Ethan arms.

• Conner entered his Maryland room and saw her laying helplessly on the bed. She looks as if she was going to die soon and he doesn't wants it to happen since he hasn't taken the his father's property from her.
• "Conner...", Maryland called in a weak soft voice and he step closer to her.
• Conner knelt on his kness and gaze at his sick mother.
• "I am so happy, after all this year's you are finally married and now I can die peacefully", Maryland said calmly.
• " And my father's property?", Conner inquired.
• "I will give it to you, only if you will accept to give your brother, fifty percent of the share Conner", Maryland clench his hand and said as she gaze into his eyes.
• Conner plans was to have his father's property all to himself, using Lina to get what he wants was still he plans. His mother had swore to give the property to Ethan if he has refused to get married and he never wants his brother to take any share of the property after what happened twenty years ago.
• He hated his brother so much that everything he did for his mother was because of her threat to give his brother the property.
• She has tried a lot of times to unite them together but failed because of their past lives.
• " Talk to me Connery", Maryland urged, calling him by his full name.
• Conner didn't respond to her.
• "Think about it Conner", Maryland said and he grind his teeth in anger.
• " There is nothing to talk about", Conner pulled his hands out from her's and stormed out of his room.
• He slammed the door hard and received a call from he's phone.
• "Sir, Williams is here at your office, he demands to see you", Simon said.
• " Is he here with his stupid daughter?", Conner asked.
• "Yes sir", Simon respond.
• " Tell them I will be there soon and make them feel comfortable", Conner ordered and hang up.
• He stroll out of the mansion and entered his car.

• Ethan hold her hands that were resting on his shoulder. He grab her waist and carried her on a bridal style.
• "You are not okay", He said to her as he watch her eyes rolled to sleep.
• Angelina tried to open her eyes but there were forced closed. She could feel her body froze and couldn't move as Ethan lifted her up.
• He carried her out of the bathroom and dropped her on the bed carefully.
• " Hold yourself, I will be back, okay?", Ethan stroke her hair as he assured her and she just nodded in respond.
• He rushed out of the room and ran downstairs to the kitchen. He made a hot coffee and rushed back to the room.
• "Here, have this", He urged her and she shook her head.
• Angelina was scared Conner would come in any moment and catch her this close with his brother.
• " You don't have a choice, have this", Ethan said and lifted her head up on his hands as he carefully put the mug in her lips, forcing her to open her mouth.
• Ethan kept persuading her and she didn't had any choice than to drink it.
• She parted her lips and he poured the coffee inside her mouth.
• "Try to sleep, to keep yourself warm", Ethan said and she nodded.
• He laid her head on the soft pillow and made her feel comfortable on the bed.
• He stood up to leave and she grabbed his wrist.
• " Ethan", She called and he turned to look at her. "Thank you", Angelina said in a whispered and dozzed off as her sight went blank.
