Chapter 27 We Are Far From Done
- Annette was woken by the rays of sunlight penetrating through the floor-to-ceiling windows and onto the side of the bed where she lay.
- She was wrapped in a soft cocoon of blissfulness; the mattress was so soft that she felt like she was on the clouds, and the duvet, thick and fluffy, was so warm. Damn, she could lay here forever, she thought as her eyelid started to close again.
- Soon her eyes popped open when the event of last night flooded her mind. She remembered being held tightly in Xavier's embrace as he thrust into her; she remembered falling asleep in Xavier's bed.
