- I struggled hard not to shiver as we entered Alessio's house. All through the drive here, he was silent and cold, and another thing I noticed was that he never kept his eyes off me.
- Not knowing what to make of his unnerving silence, I decided that keeping to myself was the better option as I’d presumed he had a lot in store for me. A wave of gloominess hit me as he shut the door behind us. This place was nothing different from my father’s, and even the bright paintings on the walls and pillars couldn’t add warmth to the drab atmosphere of his home.
