Chapter 9
- Savvy
- The morning sun came pouring down from the window onto my face, and I stirred gently before turning my back to it, letting out a contented sigh before drifting back to sleep.
- I could hear the bustling and the sound of cars cruising into the pack, the chuckles from the distance, and the clear voices of our guests. I could also perceive the pleasant scent from those who had arrived for the wedding day, but there I lay on the bed comfortably, without a care, as though I wouldn't be needed at the altar.
