Chapter 40 The Agreement

• Just like that, Rachel told Jordan everything about the fifty percent shares in Yates Corporation her mother had left for her. When she was done with her side of the story, she eyed him steadily and asked, "Do you think it's reasonable for the shares that are rightfully mine, Mr. Ford?"
• "Not at all," Jordan said unaffectedly.
• Shirley's face lit up when she heard this. She was overjoyed that Jordan had considered the situation from her point of view. Now that he had spoken up for her cause, she had every reason to turn down Rachel's proposition; not even Vivian could fault her for not signing the agreement to have those shares transferred.
