Chapter 17

• My head hurts and it feels like some people are drumming against my head. I try to open my eyes but I hold my head instead. Everything feels blank as I try to open my eyes. Everything seems blurry and I can hear little muffled voices. I sit up at once and hold my head in my hands groaning.
• " God…"
• I blink my eyes and look around this unfamiliar room. This isn't my room. The wall is a light pink with pictures of Beyoncé pasted on it. The pain is terrible, I feel like my head's gonna fall off. And then I remembered what happened. How my head was slammed against my car window by Todd.
