Chapter 17 Just crazy

• Taking a deep breath, he reached out to touch her face. Midway, he was interrupted. What was that sound? It sounded like a phone ringing. He twisted his head around, trying to locate the source of the sound. When he could not, he turned back to look at her. She was fading, gradually disappearing.
• "Wait!" he shouted, snapping his eyes open and abruptly sitting upright on his bed. The buzzing of his phone on top of his bed, beside his desk, drew his attention. So that was it. That was what rudely interrupted.
• Sighing, he used his left hand to rake his hair. The second fucking time! He had never once thought that he would regret the existence of phones. Speak about wrong timing. The phone was still buzzing, asking for his attention. Hissing, he climbed out of bed, picked the phone and threw it across the room.
