• "Come on, girls! Daddy has agreed to take us all out for SHOPPING!" I announced, practically bouncing with excitement. Being with these kids for the past few days had made me feign enthusiasm, but sometimes it really made me eager to communicate with them. It was a conflicting emotion I had to deal with, and I think I was getting the hang of it.
