• I had managed to put the twins to bed nearly an hour ago, so with nothing else to do but wait for Julia to return, I grabbed some case files and documents pertaining to the lawsuit against us with me from my bedroom and strolled downstairs into the kitchen.
• I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge, placing it on the counter. I slipped into one of the bar stools and began flipping through the pages of the document.
