• "Crystal..."
• Skyler said.
• "Oh my god... What are you doing here?..."
• She exclaimed and walked towards him.
• Skyler stood up and gave her side hug.
• "I live in this city... What about you?"
• He questioned and gestured her to sit down.
• "Oh, I am here for business meeting..."
• Crystal answered and sat down beside him.
• Skyler nodded and looked at Rosetta.
• "Meet my beautiful fiance, Rosetta... The love of my life..."
• Skyler kissed Rosetta's hand and she raised her eyebrows but kept her face blank.
• "Babe, meet my college friend crystal..."
• Rosetta understood that she have to continue this drama in front of his friend too.
• "Hello..."
• Crystal's smile vanished from her face. She is madly in love with Skyler, she never let go any chance to pursue Skyler. She never let any other girl near him when they were in same class. Skyler told her many times that he is not interested in her still she wasn't ready to listen. He couldn't kill her as he didn't think it's necessary otherwise he would have kill her. On top of that she is daughter of his important business partner. And that's why he said that he is in love with Rosetta to avoid her.
• "What?"
• Crystal said with betrayed look on her face, she sounded heartbroken.
• "Sky, I love you and you told me that you don't believe in love. Then What's this?"
• "I am not answerable to you, crystal. It's my life and you should respect it..."
• He said firmly.
• "But why her and not me?"
• She said frustratingly and that's what he doesn't like about her. She is spoiled brat and has no maturity. She glared at Rosetta.
• "She looks so ugly, look at her clothes. I am much more classy and beautiful than her... I have a high reputation and status in society, my father can help you in your business. I have experience about everything and I can be a perfect life partner for you... Then why you are choosing her over me. I am sure she is using some cheap tricks to use you..."
• Crystal said angrily.
• Skyler looked at Rosetta thinking she must be angry and will react but she was eating her food silently not even bothering to look at crystal.
• Skyler sighed.
• "You are insulting me by insulting my fiance. Get out and don't show me your face again. I am letting you go just because your father is my friend, don't take it as my weakness..."
• He threatened her.
• Chrystal chuckled.
• "No you can't kill me, at least not because of your cheap fiance. My father is one of the most powerful man of this country."
• She said and Skyler Smirked at her stupidity, this girl has no idea who is Rosetta or to which family she belongs. He wasn't even bothered to explain her, it was waste of time.
• "Chrystal let's go, what are you doing?"
• They heard her father.
• "Mr. King?... What a pleasant surprise."
• He greeted Skyler with excitement and his eyes fell on Rosetta.
• "Miss knight... How are you?... What a great day, I get to see two great personalities here."
• He greeted her.
• Rosetta looked at him.
• "Nice to see you mr. Wilson..."
• She greeted back professionally.
• "Dad do you know her?"
• Crystal asked nervously. Skyler looked at him confused too thinking how he knows her.
• Wilson smiled.
• "Of course I know her... She is the daughter of Damian knight and princess of knight empire. The most Powerful family in the mafia... But that's not her only identity, she is very intelligent girl with excellent business skills. We were working on the same project few months back and it's giving us huge profits just because of her suggestions. Mr. Knight must be very proud father..."
• He exclaimed and crystal gulped nervously realising that if Rosetta decide then she can wipe out her existence within snap of her fingers.
• "It's heartbreaking to see that you are not in business anymore, we needed that young energy..."
• Wilson Said.
• "I won't be in my father's business anymore mr. Wilson. I am busy in chasing my own dreams..."
• Rosetta replied.
• "Of course and it's a great thing... I wish you all the best... Such a great lady you are..."
• He praised.
• "I heard you two are getting married, is that true?"
• Skyler nodded.
• "Yes... You will get the invitation mr. Wilson, make sure you come with your whole family..."
• He looked at crystal mockingly while she looked down in shame.
• "It's my pleasure Mr. King... Can't wait to witness this powerful alliance... Kings and knights together will be unstoppable..."
• He replied.
• "Dad, can we leave now... I am not feeling well..."
• Crystal said.
• "Okay let's go... Congratulations both of you. I'll take your permission now..."
• Wilson Said and left with his bratty daughter.
• "Are you done eating?"
• Skyler asked.
• "No"
• She replied and started eating her half finished plate making him chuckle. He realised that she is foodie, she was eating like this at his house too.
• "Why you was sitting unaffected by her words?"
• He questioned.
• "I don't think it's necessary to waste my energy on dumb people..."
• She shrugged.
• They finally finished their lunch.
• "I'll pay the bill..."
• She said.
• Skyler sighed.
• "No!... It's my hotel. We don't need to pay."
• He said and she nodded.
• "Do you know, over self dependence is also related to trauma"
• He said as they walked out.
• "I know, you earn and all but let others take care of you..."
• "I am capable enough to take care of myself, I don't need anyone..."
• She said nonchalantly and sat inside the car.
• Skyler shook his head and sat beside her. They did rest of the shopping and brought skyler's stuff.
• It was almost evening and Rosetta was totally exhausted. Her legs were screaming in pain and her feet were still swollen. He finally Decided to drop her home.
• Rosetta couldn't control herself and finally drifted to sleep in the car. Her head slowly landed on skyler's shoulder and he looked at her. He gently removed her head from his shoulder.
• "Let the poor girl sleep man, she must be tired..."
• Max, who was driving the car chuckled and Skyler glared at him.
• Skyler looked at her when she again placed her head on his shoulder. She was sleeping peacefully, he gently tucked loose strands of hair behind her ear. He unknowingly caressed her cheek.
• Today he learnt new things about her, she is too mature for her age. She is intelligent and has business skills. She is down to earth and doesn't show off. She doesn't like to get involved in unnecessary fights. She doesn't like taking others help. she gives first priority to her food and she has no knowledge about flirting or double meaning words.
• He smiled at her. There wasn't anything which he could find problematic.
• He let her sleep on his shoulder, his phone suddenly vibrated and he received it. It was his father.
• "Max, we have to go home now... It's urgent..."
• He ordered max.
• "But what about her, we have to drop her first..."
• Max asked.
• Skyler looked at her sleeping form.
• "I'll drop her later... Let's go home first..."
• He said.
• Max drove to his mansion and she was still asleep. Skyler tried to wake her up but she was sleeping like she is drugged. Giving up, he picked her up and started walking inside.
• His mother and sister was sitting in the living room.
• "Fuck, mom... Look what is he doing?"
• His sister yelled who has just returned from her University and has no idea that he is getting married.
• "Lower your voice Bella, she is sleeping..."
• Skyler Scolded and she went quiet. Skyler took her to his room.
• "Mom, he is scolding me for some random girl... Why don't you say something?"
• She complained.
• "Bella, she is his fiance... They are getting married soon... I tell you everything, don't bother him..."
• Sarah explained.
• Skyler placed Rosetta on the bed and took off her shoes.
• "Damn..."
• He cursed looking at her swollen feet.
