Chapter 1482 – Looking Forward

• The plan moves forward beautifully. I’m almost overwhelmed by it, the efficiency with which my team works and the ease with which things move forward. I’m incredibly pleased, but then also a little disappointed in myself for not doing this any sooner. Honestly, what was I so afraid of?
• Burton is the busiest, of course, with the wedding tomorrow. But his precise nature and impeccable taste have him running through the fine details quickly and efficiently. He pops into the bedroom every hour or so to check on some detail or another and I feel so incredibly good that it’s all in his hands. Honestly, if he ever decides to stop being a butler he’ll have a wonderful career as a wedding planner.
• Bridgette, I think, has the most fun, as her job is basically a vacation day with Ivan. The two of them spend most of their time playing outside with Archie. Alvin surprised me – though, honestly, I don’t know why I was surprised - by begging to be Miss Georgia’s helper today.
