• I look in front of us and see my parents waving from inside the palace gates where we're heading. “Mom! Dad!” I call out and practically drag Daniel out of the carriage as I jump out. It's them! They're really here! I run toward them and throw my free arm around their necks. “You’re here! How? Why?” I can’t stop hugging them.
• My mother has tears in her eyes. "You didn't think we would miss your wedding, did you?" I shake my head and feel my eyes sting. She grabs my hand. “Oh honey. You look so beautiful.”
