After finishing her breakfast, Meredith dabbed at her mouth with a napkin and asked, "How many days are we going to be away? Let me pack." She figured Zenon must have been eager for a change of scenery after being confined to home during his recovery this past week and thought getting some fresh air was a good idea.
"I've handled everything for you," Zenon replied. "I intend to return tomorrow evening, but if you'd prefer to stay longer, we can adjust accordingly."
