Chapter 14 A New Life

• Larry married me back then for two reasons. First, I was pregnant with twins and second, I didn’t ask for a dowry, it cost him nothing. Thinking about it now made me so regretful I wanted to smash my head against the wall.

• I submitted evidence of Larry’s domestic violence and infidelity to the court along with my divorce petition. The process went smoothly.
