Chapter 41 Our World Against Theirs

• Jamole and Susan sat to a table of spicy pasta for dinner.
• Dinner had never been so quiet and boring. And all the while Susan stole a glance at his face; she perceived the sullen look on his face was for her.
• She never doubted it because she had spoken to him rudely the other day when Jamole showed interest in the Acrid Forest.
